Lumaflex is a substructure of sturdy birch plywood and shock absorbing foam that raises the profile of a resilient sports floor to create a combination system. This increased height delivers additional comfort and safety, while still retaining the practical benefits of a resilient sports surface. On a Lumaflex floor, you can train, practice, and play for longer periods of time, with less fatigue, and more comfort.
The Lumaflex system can be installed with a variety of options from the Tarkett Sports Indoor synthetic surfaces, including Omnisports, PolyTurf Plus, and Linosport. With Lumaflex, you benefit from the perfect combination of a high shock absorption cushioned plywood subfloor below a resilient athletic surface.
Tarkett Sports Indoor Lumaflex Products

Features
Lumaflex is the definitive sports floor for comfort, safety, and sports performance. This combined response generates remarkably high levels of shock absorption and natural stability underfoot. On a Lumaflex floor, you can train, practice, and play for longer periods of time with less fatigue and more comfort.

1. Resilient Point-Elastic Surface:
Lumaflex can be used with a variety of Tarkett Sports’ gym flooring options, including Omnisports, LinoSport, and PolyTurf Plus Pad and Pour.
2. Lumaflex Shock-Absorbing Foam:
The Lumaflex shock-absorbing foam can be modified to accommodate different slab depressions. In addition to providing high levels of shock absorption, it is also GREENGUARD Gold certified as a low-emitting interior building material.
3. Uniform Structural Support:
These 18 mm plywood planks provide stability and a uniform structure for resilient sports surfaces. They are made exclusively from birch, one of the most stable species of wood.
4. Reliable Bonding and Assembly:
Each birch plywood plank incorporates an offset, interlocking tongue-and-groove edge that is glued using Tarkett’s specifically designed application nozzle. This allows fast and reliable installation.
Benefits
Simplified Maintenance:
Because hardwood Maple is porous and naturally absorbs and releases moisture, it demands an additional measure of care. When choosing Omnisports, Polyturf Plus Pad and Pour or LinoSport with your Lumaflex system, it’s quite the opposite.
Multi-Purpose Advantage:
Your hybrid floor is more than a high performance surface; it is also a multipurpose floor with unlimited possibilities and benefits. There’s no need for a floor cover because a Lumaflex system – combined with an Omnisports, LinoSport, or PolyTurf Plus surface – is extremely durable.
The Perfect Combination:
Lumaflex combines point-elastic surface properties with an area-elastic substructure. This gives athletes significantly more comfort thanks to great vertical deformation and cushioning than they would experience with a basic area-elastic hardwood floor. By engaging both types of elasticity, Lumaflex responds to impact both locally and across the wider surface area. As a result of this duel response, they are widely regarded as one of the best sports floors for comfort, safety, and sports performance.
Surface Layer Options:
Omnisports, LinoSport and PolyTurf Plus Pad & Pour
Extreme Durability, Comfort and Performance:
The 18 mm birch plywood planks are made exclusively from birch, an extremely stable species of wood that provides a uniform structure for resilient sports surfaces. Lumaflex is ASTM F2772 Class 4 certified, offering high shock absorption and more uniformity. It is one of the best solutions for reducing fatigue and increasing comfort.
Tarkett Sports Warranty Protection:
Depending on the point-elastic surface, Lumaflex provides the best warranties in the game.
